Why is Server 1 so often down?  |

Well as you know ironman hosts the server from his home, so a lot of times it hapopens,that server crashes etc...and iron isnt home to reboot it...

i turned the server off a few nights and days because it was 27+ degrees and in the room almost 30 degrees and coolers didnt swithc off again once the server was on. so i thoughed i turn server on for 14 hours then give it a good cool down.. i thoughed no one would notice cos i turned server off at say +- 2 -3 a clock at night |

yes i have notice it..... sometimes i play in morning.... server 1 always was off than hulk |

Hey ! I think, that It is much better to turn off the server for some hours than let it down.
I admire Ironman for his commitment in this matter. If I would devote as much time for computer as Ironman, my family surely would kill me.

I agree with Paco, cause i think that it takes a lot of time for these things, and if Iron doesn't want to have a sauna in his house, so what?  ;D If the computer heats too much, you just have to turn it off, that is a fact. The best time to do it, is at night, cause only few players (if there are any) are on server, and we need our server during the day, cause everybody wants to play on it, right?  Other possibility is, that every registered person on forum donates MONTHLY 20 $ for Iron's new comp with water cooling, so we can have one server, which will run all the time, but i don't think that everybody would co-operate (joke anyway) I think that it is not neccesary that server is online all the time,anyway. p.s.
