yes bacground ... i have 1280 X 960 if u want i can make some skin for forum but i need all images  yes tht monitor size would make wall paper double appear or 1 and a bit... but luckly 99% of users have 800x600 or 1024x768 |

PS: iron, look in war room pls i know but traw sayed.. not in poland ... lol nobody I know is using 800x600 resolution lol and there is no way no how i will ever believe that, if been through poland i know what it is like there i have been to romania i know what it is like there.. hell some villages they have ox cards and not even normal roads or street lights... so dont tell me "they all"have 1200 inch monitors and high tech computers, i used to collect and send 2nd hand stuff to poland and to romania to help them poor people.. |

That's all I'd like to say - once more - You need to read something witch informations abgut my country (but at least from XXI ).
don't write if You don't know the situation. There is 20 families in my block. 18 of them have a computer with internet connection. Most of my friends has > 1,8 GHz processor with 256 or 512 RAM. Monitors - well good 17 is a standard ! But now many of my frieds has LCD monitor ! I just don't know where comes Your informations from !! And I don't know if i should smile or cry ;p
u know nothing about poland ...

And I don't know if i should smile or cry ;p u know nothing about poland ... yeah all the poeple on ur block have computers, that is prtobably becos ur parrents have good jobs and therefore the block they life in is where all the "rich"people life.. i know more abbout poland then u think or then u let on. i suggest u open ur eyes and travel arround that country, for me it is like going back into time a 100 years, seeing peopel milk there own cow and drinking it, seeing people with a mule or horse and wagon, i have been im poland not 4 years and ago and i doubt it has changed much in 4/5 years.. there are so many polish people here working wayy under our normal wages doing all the sjity jobs no Dutch person would ever do, if it was so great in poland then they would come here doing the sjit jobs no dutch person would take.. i suggest u get off ur high poilish horse and travel arround ur own country , cos most (and im one) people in west europe think all east european countries are 3th world countries, slightly better then africa much worse then western europe... and yes u guys work for a dollar a hour, my ex her family had a hugh farm in romania and they made 10 dollar a day and a hot meal (that is what they payed them) and then they made more money than their own police force or their own mayor. and it is the same in poland.. everyone here knows that, its jsut ur pride that is in the way, and like i sayed if there are 20 people on ur block and they all have computers it is becos you are ONE of the lucky few and have parrents with a good job (probably working for a west european companey or they work here)... either way we Dutch are gettign pretty fed up with all them polish guys flooding our country thinbking they can work here and then u saying ooh no we all have computers and 1200 inch monitors hahahaha in your dreams, in your wildest dreams, not even here do we have that and i life in the richest european country adn we dont even have what u claim to have... so my advice, go travel arround ur own country.. see it for your self.. but dotn forget to take a gun with u, and dont wear ur best cloths cos u will get robbed by the poor buggers that have none of what u have.... all the polish peopel on the internet now have good jobs or have parrents with good jobs, and there for are the "elite"of there society the "normal"avarage polish person has a hard time buying bread and gettign money for the rent. he has no money to buy a computer let alone buy a way to expensive internet connection... |

here this is poland, the places the tourists dotn get to see..      and that is how most of them vilages look like, and u see it also a LOT in the big cities.. you see a lot of kids drifting on the streets like hobos sniffing glue to get high.. a lot of kids begging (so much i got really sick of it)... so dont tell me what poland looks like , u should travel arround ur own country, seeing how im explaining stuff to u about ur own country.. and if (according to u) poland is doing so great why isnt it part of europe ?? what are all these polsih peoiple doing here doing work no Dutch person would do for that low pay yhey are getting (and then they make 4-10 times what they do in poland)... see as youa re a kid i wont burden u with these fling flangs of life, but u better watch what u say when u say: ooh everyone here has that... cos tht is bullshit... |

That's not tru what You write about country ! That's just not fair ! I'm 27 years old - working in POLISH company and I'm earning good money. That's true that in Poland is many thing to do but people - we were 50 years in Cominism becouse of our "friends" whou sell us to Russia. In 10 years from begining democracy we made more than most western countries in 30 years !! Horses we have in a village - don't You ?? This pictures - give me the link from sources ! and that is true ... we dont have 800/600 minitor maybe in your country but not in poland... u dont visit any city in poland ... for example ... minotor 17 LCD = 350 $ in poland ... my monitor ... 15 ... with 1280/1024 ... 100$ so it isnt so much for polish ...

Opinion (though I think well founded on my own personal experience):
People often mistake (or choose to mistake) their own individual "life quality pattern" for that of the country they live in. That is particularly true of the "most fortunate few" to whom seems very difficult to admit that "fellow citizens" live on quite lower incomes (or no incomes at all). Hence the very old and most times wrong slogan of "they're poor because they don't want to work". That's one favourite saying here where I am at the western tip of Europe. I don't think I ever heard it from any of my fellow 7% unemployed co citizens though.
Opinion:
I cannot believe, given due respect, that in Poland the percentage of computer owner homes can be, or can come to be in the foreseenable future, on the order of 90%.
Nor do I believe it possible for any other country.
I think we will much sooner see those military cyborgs from another of our topics...

The average "life quality patterns" of workers all over the world is, I think, decreasing, not by any means increasing.
Of course we need to know not only how much people earn but also how much things cost and their availability in each country to make out what the real life pattern is.

However controverse this opinion may be, I think there's way too much people wandering around the globe. Take Portugal, this little crappy worthless piece of garbage country in the tip of western Europe where "minimum legal wage" is 370€/month and prices are on european level. We are about 10 000 000 here plus almost 500 000 foreigners. That's 5% foreigners. There are almost as much foreigners here as jobless portuguese. And everyday there are more foreigners (usually with jobs and frequently without a legalized situation and sometimes living in shipping containers and/or not receiving payment) and simultaneously more jobless and underpaid portuguese. The largest community here is not even portuguese speaking. We were used to have many people here from ex african colonies and some from Brasil but now the major group is from Ukraine with Brasil coming only in second.
Not that I think Portugal should get rid of foreigners.
I would very much like to get the country rid of portuguese employers who only employ foreigners...

It's not rare that immigrants, particularly from central and eastern Europe, arrive on western Europe full of hopes just to find this is not as good (except for the weather in some cases) as they thought.
Opinion:
On the other hand, it seems that there is on western Europe a tendency to underestimate eastern countries as to their capabilities and "living patterns". That's of course due to years of anti "communist" propaganda still lingering on western peoples minds. I will speak of what I've heard about Lithuania through portuguese people who worked there for my ex employers, the siemens group. In 1994 maximum wage was around 23,5€ (I know, € was not on at the time). Two years later it had soared up to tenfold that sum. However it seems some food was still state sponsored. Once I was told by someone who was there that they never charged him on 1 liter of milk. And some other essential food stuffs where not expensive either.
So, the point is that those eastern countries aren't probably all so destitute as capitalist propaganda painted them (though there seems to remain no doubt about Romania). And furthermore, the introduction of free capitalism may boost living patterns of parts of the population (while probably sinking that of others). However there are limits. As I heard in 1998 from some slovakian people who briefly passed through the factory where I worked, an engineer there pocketed around 350€/month, whereas my portuguese chief earned around tenfold that. But already there was talk from employers in slovakia that slovakian workers were destroying their only advantage to others by claiming for raising wages.
