The forum skins are currently being updated Cov Ops Skin = UpdatedDefault Skin = UpdatedEngineer Skin = UpdatedAlso i put the forum in holiday mode/mood, so a few things have been adjusted  all forum/messageboard skins have been updaed with the latest buttons and links... plse inform me if you see a bug or something i forgot..(was lot of work iam bound to have over looked somethiing.) |

looks rather good, nice to see the smilies are getting into the xmas spirit good work they are not in x-mass spirit, the smiles are not santas but sinterklaas.. santa and sinterklaas or santaclause and sinterklaas are the same guy but 1 is american (santa) and one is european (sinterklaas).. Sinterklaas is a holiday that is celibrated on 5 december in the netherlands, belgium and i think they know him in germany too.. we also have christmass but that is later in december,,   santa ========= *Has a sled and rain deer. *Comes through chimne *you put a sock at fire place to recieve presents under tree. * Has gnomes or dwarves making presents on northpole.  sinterklaas =========== * has a white horse *Comes through chimne * puts presents in your shoe at fire place. * has pieten (slaves) to work for him. * piet beats or takes little kids who have been bad.. i dont know how the one person became 2 people, but Sinterklaas was a real Holy man who lived in spain (some say turkey) , that is why santa is Saint Nick cause it is a Holy man.. Anyways, santa went hes own way in holywood movies he became more fat and more happy (ho! ho! ho!) to become more attractive for little children, As to where as Sinterklaas is feared and loved by children, but every kid also fears Sinterklaas cause when or if you been bad he will put you in a bag and take you back to Spain or beat you with a wooden stick.. hope that clarifies it a bit, and hope i explained dit ok. |

The history of Sinterklaas Sinterklaas is the Dutch and Flemish name for Saint Nicholas, who is believed to have been bishop of Myra in the 4th century AC. There are no contemporary records of Saint Nicholas. The first description of his life dates back to the 9th century, so separating fact and fiction is not an easy task. Many legends have sprung up around his person. Saint Nicholas is always portrayed as very openhanded, supplying poor virgins with dowries and restoring dead children to life. Even as early as the 6th century Nicholas of Myra was a cult figure in the Eastern Roman Empire. Italian seamen took his body - a holy relic - to the west, to the city Bari, during the Turkish war of 1087. The cult of Saint Nicholas then found its way northward. Between 1200 and 1500 more than a hundred churches were built in Holland and Belgium to honor Saint Nicholas. The reformation - start of the protestant religion - tried to suppress the cult of the popular "Sinterklaas". As a saint, Nicholas is no longer remembered. As a fairytale figure of folk song and legend, he is very much alive today. The Dutch and Belgians celebrate Sinterklaas' birthday on the evening of december 5th.

Here in Belgium it' s the 6 december, not the 5 lolllllll We open all the present the 6th. iv been told the belgium sinterklaas looks diffrent then the dutch one too |

As a kid Sinterklaas is just great, getting lots of candy and presents, but now that I am a father of a youngster it really hurts in your wallet when buying all the presents (and spoil your kid)  |

the forum still uses some of the original (standard)pictures/icons/buttons, not many are left but enough to annoy me when they do not load properly (or am i the only oen with broken images here... sometimes)
so iam now replacing all forum images that are still original ,better to host them my self then i know they will always load properly.
