xp save poll

ok i have to make some side notes, i do not want to influence the poll in any way shape or form i just want you all to hear how i think about this and what iam planning so we can all put our 2 cents in the pot and see what we like

Iam for XPsave
(atleast 1 week)
1) if you have seen the post in the topic "SERVER UPGRADE" about the new level 5 that we have you will understand that getting level 5 and using them extra things will require more time...
2) people like the idea of starting a career and becoming better and better over time
3) iam working in a new career mode idea, that works with a (+-) 1 week xp save) i can change all levels (medic/cov ops/battle senes/small arms etc etc) levels and the xp u need to get a level,.
So it will take longer to gain a lvl, instead of player 3/9 hours to become a full general (5 star in all classes) it can take 9/20 hours or 20/100 hours, so people can start a real kind of career mode, the more you play the better you become over time..
4) people who play not much and dotn have such high levels fear that they will be disimated by the enemy of higher rank, BUt we can do XP shuffles so the teams are +- equel..

Iam against xpsave
1) new players or people that do not play very much can be blasted away by a much stronger enemy force..

One of the features that make the PLC server better is precisely the fact is not XP Save. I believe that each game (connection) is a new challenge and it makes no sense be registered the past

I really dont get it why xp save?While im not playing constantly every day it means i will be fragged with xp whores which they are playing a lot.So i wote let it be as it was before.

ofcours not, means the xpsave works in ur favor, once u have ur skill (1/2/3 or all) with 4 stars u are good..
tha tu play once in a while and save ur xp is perfect for u, that way u dont have to climb up everytime but can enjoy 2 pistols, gas mines, flat jacket, poisen bullets etc etc etc..

i mean there is a limit to the powers, once people that play a lot reach the max lvl it stops, and dont forget we have xp shuffle...

Hm i don't like xpsave longer then 24 hours or a campaign for the following reasons:

It is really hard to stop a 4 star engy with 156hp (or w/e the max hp for engies is) and 4 star light weapons when u only have like 50 xp... I hate losing time after time to players i know i can normally win from, but can't because they have 10.000xp and i have 100xp.

Imo players should improve theirselves by playing a lot, training, trying new strategies, anything.... Not by gaining more and more xp, because that will only give them the illusion they are improving their skills. There's only one way to improve your skills, and that's practise.

Another thing is that the players who play on a daily-like basis will become REALLY good because of the xp-advantage. The players who play like 2 times a week won't be able to keep up with that, and get rolled over and over again. They probably won't like it, so they'll play even less and less...

Dont you understand that people like xp save !!!
We need to get more and more players on server, and they wont come If they wont have reason !!! If you want to play all the time with only plc members and vip your choice....

I can´t vote so you can write me up on the first choice. BUT If i would decide i would like to have XP-reset when a new campaign starts all over again.Like the RTCW-servers have. I think that is both fair and fun

2 days only plc played, now today (saterday) i changed the server name too:

and lord and behold new people enter the server...

seems people really hate starting all over again each and everytime they play.

still it is way to quiet on the server, i would have expected more people it has been 2 years since we last tried the patch 2.60 you would think more people would be using it..

yeah i dont know why it is so quiet because when you run 2.60 and you look for a server to play on there are much more servers on the 2.60 than on the old one.
but hey we are a new clan/server at the 2.60 maybe it needs some time before lots of people come and chek out our server.
i noticed some new players at our server so if they like it they recoment it to there friends and so people will come but that takes time.
