i think its stupid to give children of 14 even softguns,

or they should have a license

or it should be 18+

i know someone of my age who shot an tin bullet into an 8 year old boy's head from 20 centimeters distance, later that day we kicked the shooter's ass but it still is dangerous

I dunno if softguns are the same as luchtbuks
butt it is legal to have a luchtbuks in holland atleast under these condisiance: you have to be 18 years or older... you can shoot the gun in these places: your room where nobody can get hurt or can see it, or in your backyard.
and if you do something wrong and somebody reports it to the police you can go to jail or get a bail like 500 euros

i think only people who can handle a gun (whether soft or hard) properly and who are licensed, can have a gun. Somebody might get hurt, a gun is a gun

in Belgium you can just walk around with softguns all over the place (i know a little field of grass where i used to football with my friends and where they now shoot their self-made targets) and indeed rip those weapons should only been given to people who are ABLE to handle them.
