Try to shut off all programs u might have on in background...i mean for ex. messenger, skype what ever program that might use your bandwith...
U have something going on background cause u always have ping over 200...and other finnish people have ping like 70-100
btw remember to log off messenger before u shut it down.....i had problems with that...even if u just shut down messenger it keep connection to host...so log off

Do u have both pc:s connected to lan....its unbelieveble ping that u have.....u have adsl....dont u? If u have 2 pc on the net same time u get ping like 200 and lag....witch u bot have  |

So that another pc gives u that problem...high ping, lag, and connection problems...its all about that another pc!!

Sometimes I am having the same problems, since I have two sisters  and two computes, connected via rooter, but I always play E.T. when my sisters aren't on the second computer, otherwise I have ping about 150... Azat, just try to prevent your sister from using the second computer, and do it with everything you got   ;D Mickey |

I have problems with connecting server 1. Proplem has been there after that new map. If server is empty, i get in, but if there is players, connection stops to that "waiting gamestate..." thing, and it stuck there, no matter how long ill wait, what should i do?  Proplem is only with server 1, server 2 works fine... |

that is th eproblem azat, et wants a lot of power and if u have a router and people are behind other pcs downloading or internetting then u will lag like mad ass..

that is th eproblem azat, et wants a lot of power and if u have a router and people are behind other pcs downloading or internetting then u will lag like mad ass.. And that lag sucks for 2 reasons 1) u are really hard to hit because u jump from place to another and then stay in one place a while and again jump to another in can be even meters u jump in one time...i really hate it 2) sometimes u get the hole server lag a bit and that is really shit cause everyone starts to lag...and that ruins the hole game and in that point i will kick u.....i will say it now so u can know when u lag like hell !! |

I had this problem too. Yesterday i did get my fat ass in 2 times. It was ok for while, but everytime when next map started loading, my connection went "down", picture stops and nothing will happen, i can only disconnect. Today so far, i have tryed about 100 times to get in, 1 time i did get in, and when map started change, same thing, whole game freezes...very weird... |

(as you know, I am a computer nerd so don't throw with difficult terms) ` got same problem sometimes, when i start the game it will show the loading windows and it will say: oasis, crashed fueldump crashed adlernext crashed goldrush crashed then the game starts with the short demo movie, when i connect to a server it will say for low ping only then i exit game and start it again using quick launch icon, then it doesnt say crashed anymore, and i can enter any server. |

Well from time to time this happens to me too, but if I press ESC and reconnect, everything works fine. So don't worry about it ... it seems to be quite normal bye Pit |
