A lot of people dislike Mr. Fidel Castro.
But there are some people in Israel who should have payed attention to Mr. Fidel Castro when quite recently he reached out offering aid (what he could) to a country with a known history of being less than cold for Cuba when it was struck by natural catastrophe in the form of the Katrina typhoon.
Maybe if Israelis stopped looking at their button bellies and got their asses offering aid to some (by the way) non arab muslims (there are no arabs in Pakistan except those who traveled there) maybe, just maybe, their international image could get a bit better and they may find that it is good to help other people in need when we can as I think every religion's sacred books tell people (when people bother to read and understand them)...
Anyway, as I asked someone on another topic some months ago, if "your" god is one for all of you why in hell are you at each others throats?
If there is only one god why history is full of hatred between jews, christians and muslims?
And why jews, christians and muslims cannot find peace even inside the same religion and all are divided in sects?
I think there is something very wrong in one god religions!
They seem to tend to bring out the worst of people...
About the jewish question I only will like to add one thing no one was probably mean enough to write, but I will be.
Just think about the irony brought about by teaching children just one side of the story.
Now the Israeli children are growing in absolute ignorance of how their ancestors drove their english helpers out of the way because they were already getting in the way of their plans.
Yes, that's right, the Israelis bombed the english troops out of Palestine when they do not wanted them there anymore, and I do not mean bombs dropped by airplanes, I mean bombs concealed in british targets in Palestine.
It was probably there and then that the "arabs" learned how to do it...
It seems they had very good teachers...
Returning to earthquakes from which no one should have got out (postwise) , I live in a country that not having them everyday (like in say Japan) has some (I myself already experienced one scary enough but do not remember it because I had only 2), particularly in the Azores Islands which are over the Atlantic Rift, a zone of intense geological activity.
So someday it can be me...
And I do not know to what god I should pray for forgiveness (I'm an atheist, remember) but sometimes I find myself thinking if some natural catastrophe in which countless thousands of people from Israel and Palestine perish would not be the only way to bring them all (the survivors) back to some degree of humanity...
