Panzer. Noob or not?

I decided to make this thread because many people seem to think panzer as a noob weapon, but at the same time many not noob players use it at least occasionally. So what is your opinion on panzer? do you use it, if you use it how often and how other people react towards you if you use it?

I myself never use it because i dont like to use it. But this doesn't mean i think it is totally noob weapon. I think it's ok weapon to use if you don't use too often. Only time i've used it was once in the goldrush when i was axis and allies had the truck near the end. Otherwise i haven't used it.

Every weapon has its assignment and if you use it with its assignment, it is all right.

One of our retired officers made a great manual of using Panzerfaust, it explained how to use it and where. It'll give more info and maybe someone start like to use when they know how.
One of the officers "apprentice" xxx is pretty good with Panzerfaust...

as paco said, only ppl are noobs. panzerfausts were designed as an ifnatry anti-tank weapon, but if noobs use it all the time without any sense and stuff, this person is noob.

I think than that weapon is more noober than not. As darkclown said, that's an anti-tank weapon. I've just used it 2 times in all the time i've been played ET.

for me, the people who say that these weapon is noob are noob
the guys who made this game know why they put the panzerfaust in it
it isnt noob cause u need to know how to handle this weapon
if u dont know to handle it u are lost on the battlefield

Noob weapon , nope, many of you don't know the real magic behind a panzerfuost.
It's not a close quoter's weapon , as most of "noob's" use it.
The real magic is when you hit someone whit a panzer who is a half a map away like temple of fuel dump, it's takes a good aim and good timing! And ther's nothing more beautiful when you "blow up" 2 med's and an engi hiding behind the tank, or construction box.
Don't use panzer for short distances, make the rocket really fly!
That, is what make's a panzer elite weapon, not all can hit a man who is running from a large distance.


P.S And yes! ther's a rocket whit your name on it, i just wanted to give you a "head's up" As i awate for you in the dark corner ;D ;D

Wise words paco, wise words. Each class can be used in a noobish way:
Field ops who just air raid enemy spawn and don't give ammo to friendly units, medics who just go around killing enemy and healing themselves without any intention on healing other wounded soldiers. Engineers who don't bother repairing or destroying objectives, Cov ops who just want to snipe over a hill when friendly sodiers are dodging (unspotted)mines and SMG fire.

You can also use the Panzerfaust as I really was used, - in Tali-Ihantalas battle in June 1944 - destroying tanks, it takes more than nade so it's cool for that too, that manual told lot.

I love paznerfaust too but somethimes it make people angry when i kill them 10 times in row..cos it can make someone angry..
But I think that Pazna weapon isnt noobish..
The most noobish thing in paznerfaust and person who use it is viporasing himself.
I like to use it really

That's the truth. It's unnegable. It's all right that the person can´t if their action bar (Really' i don't know it's real name) is empty because healed himself a lot, put 2 mines or shoot 2 grenades, give ammo because they attacked with artillery or airstrike ; but there are noobish people, as 81507 said, that they don't want to give anybody who needs it.

N by the way, i don't know the others, but 4 me the panzer is a noob weapon. If anyone says that panzer is not a noob weapon, like piurek, jani, x.x.x., etc, i respect their opinion...

Sometimes if a player is already stressed a bit he might practicly explode when shot simultaniosly with panzerfaust. (well in fact he does explode when shot with a panzerfaust, but thats not how i mean it )

Well then that player takes game too real. - It's just game you get killed. Life is more important than game, I guess.

As far as i know word noob comes from newbie...so how can some weapon make ppl noob?

ok..ok..ok i know what was the meaning of the guestion....neither the game nor the weapons work alone, so it cant be the weapon thats noob...or can it ?

I think this hole game should split to 2 different games.
One game for those who like to do the object and play as a team
And other one where u could just kill...kill...kill
And to that killing game u need just one map !!!!

I can remember when i started to play ET...i was always fops....hiding somewhere just artying the places where u could kill most enemy.
Then i was always medic healing myself and keeping alive...and sometime healing teammates usually fops....cause he was that killer.
After one night spending several hours talking to former member Flying i started to heal engi...engis are the ones who wins the maps

Nowadays i have realized what soldiers can do....and i`ve realized how important panzer can be or mortal....more powerfull...i just
don`t know how to use it!!!

But most of all it just important what u do...not what weapon u have !!!!!

Hehe, toppahousu is right with how do someone start. It was crazy, but i started to play with NO INTERNET, but when i understood the role of the game, 4 me, first were my mates n later me.

In my opinion, using panza is quite noobish, and i only use it, when i am very angry....
I get very angry, when i am close to achieving a goal ( stealing gold, planting..) and then, a guy with a panzer kills me... i don't like it. because you can kill a person so easily, that it is just not worth trying Panzer is also very effective from distance,and in my opinion, it is too strong for the game

paco has right I think that the player the noob is and the weapon not but if u use the pazerfaust to much it is a little bit noob to

P.s. I don't like a panzer and I use it nearly never because i can't handle good with it.

panzer is not NOOB but noob is player who dont know how and where to use panzer...

its great to kill engineers behind the tank or truck when they wanna repair it... it's great to clean up the snipers in houses or to kill players on mg nests...i most use it because of tank...

oh yes and 4 sure it's good to kill engineers behind boxes where they must make a bridge or bariers....

I think that what it is used for it makes the weapon and the player noob... example
You are better playing than someone other and he doesnt like you... Then he gets angry and takes panz and starts to kill you with it... And then you say him to N00B!!!! and that is when he is noob but now the other example : you have obtained every other skills but heavy guns.. then you just take the panz becus u get it faster with it... This is when you are not noob.. So i think it is both, depends what you use it for i hope everyone gets what i am saying ||||| vengeance ( because u are better player ) or the heavy guns skill... and i'll tell you i use it only for the skill
