Actually 1.5GB is a decent size for an mp3 player. Unless you want to be a freak and pay far too much money for Apple's over-rated iPod, then you're not gonna get much more storage than 1-1.5GB for under £70. I ordered mine from ebay. I say ordered, but I mean Won-in-an-auction. It is a 1GB with FM Radio, Voice Recording, FM recording and 7 colour LCD screen. It cost £49.50 for the player, and then £13.90 for the postage. It took a week to arrive. And it was coming from Hong Kong, NOT Japan as I previously said. Hope this helps.

The game has the very rare quality of compeling each set of opposing players to cooperate between themselves, joining efforts and combining different abilitiesm, in order to achieve goals.
I think there's a lesson there for everyone.
And besides, it's also a very rare case of a game which was never bought or sold.
I think the two facts may well be connected...

I also think it is a 10.
The main reason being the variation of activitys mainly through choice of Trade.
Medic covert or engi etc etc.
I have played several others on line.
Unreal, Doom, Medal Of Honour , and Far Cry , the main diference being the team work even though there may be two side against each other the working team play is not forced into the game like ET.
So you just end up with to many Rombo s. And in single player modes there are to many Great players just waiting to kick your but

thats what i love about this game. forced team work. you rele need to pull together sometimes as a team, cover each other etc. its vital to do so to beat some teams as there team work is fantastic. every1 has a role to fill and parts to play.
the sence of unity when that happens, when you kno your team is working and funtioning well is a real buzz (to me anyways)

Teamplay is precisely the strongest and the weakest link of ET.
In small teams (5-6), all it takes is 1 idiot to go around stepping on your defense mines, or giving them a uniform, or opening the door for them -- all this is worse than just sitting in a corner and not doing anything... -- and your own effort and the effort of everybody else on your team is lost.
I wonder if there will ever be a version of ET with AI, where you could play off-line with "players" whose personality/skills you yourself have programmed, perhaps based on the behaviour of real players you've been playing with on-line...
Now that would get my 10 vote!

Now that would get my 10 vote! Awesome idea Fly, Even better would be AI that learned how "YOU" (not you personally btw) play, which would mean that "you" would have to be better than "yourself". Then the AI would adapt constantly to keep up with you, which would only serve to make "you" get better also, thus turning "you" into a lean mean killing machine. Obviously "you" would only play it up until "you" could no longer beat "yourself", but then everyone has their limits don't they
