Why the ban?

First thing that comes to my mind, is that u have been breaking rules. Usually that is reason for ban. U didnt know that?

I did thank you. But was me playing medic wrong or what? I had not been in the game long enough to do something else wrong.

Yeah, the reason was "killer medic and fuck all else". I had not even had the time to see an enemy player, but I had given med packs to my teammates and was standing right beside them. It was on venice so I had just ran from the last axis spawn to the tank barrier, then I got banned. Thats how long I was in the game. Right when I made it to the tank barrier (where two of my teammates where) someone -I think it was Ricardus- said "say goodbye". After that he asked whether I was medic, I said yes. He asked why and I asked why not, then he banned me.

When I joined the game in the beginning the only team I could join was axis, and they had one of each class, so I decided I would be medic because I'm used to playing that class. But obviously that wasn't the right thing to do in someone's opinion.

I just wish some admin would explain the situation to me.

If ric bann you it's because before he saw you playing as a killer medic and you go on that way that's all. Ric is like me : we hate killer medic.

i think you are able to understand that, it's not complicated.

and be sur that if we play together i will not hesitat to kik you at the first mistake you'll made: AND I'LL DO THAT WITHOUT WARNING.
You must know that the clan exist since 3 years; If it survive during all this time , it's because guys enjoy playing on our server. And if they like it it seem to be cause the admins make their job. Playing here means that you can have a good teamwork, pleasant game, no insults........
So take this for an advise: if i'm not really patient with crying guys, Ric is less than me.
And don't say he is a dictator , cause he play often without kiking or bann guys.
I've to say that i'm less and less patient with guys like you and i kik more often than in the begening; But the fact is that when you begin to kik 2 or 3 guys who break the rules, the others suddendly have a better play and respect the rules.
WE JUST WANT ONE THING: HAVE A FUNNY AND QUIET PLAY.

I'm sorry if I piss people off. BUT, the fact is I wasn't playing as a killer medic, I barely got to the server. This is not just whining. If I do somethong wrong you are all within your rights to kick me or even ban me, but this time I did nothing wrong. I did not even speak untill Ricardus said 'say goodbye'. This whole thing just left me a little bewildered.

I have had few decent games on this server in the past and the reason I play here mostly has to do with the fact that some of the old TL players also play here. They have recommended this server and I used to share their view. But this whole experience has seriously made me reconsider.

What kind of an answer is this? Seriously? As I said I'd like to play on your server because the old TL members do. So far you have only explained to me what I already know, that if I break the rules i get kicked whether I like or not. This is fine with me. But this time I don't think I did anything wrong, unless you can tell me exactly what I did wrong your posts are rather unnecessary. I am trying to be as kind and understanding as possible here, maybe you should too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this part of the forum is for people to find out why they were banned and talk about it. Maybe even get unbanned as a result. So why won't any onw say the actual reason for I was banned, other than I did something wrong and -according to Moutanche- should be ok about it and leave.

I will lift the ban for you.

In future, do not play so much as killer medic. Your natural instinct is to join the game as a medic (for reasons I can only assume are to do with the 'peculiarities' of that class) In fact, yesterday, when you joined, your team already had a killer medic all of its own and was struggling to defend and build barriers etc. for just that reason. Spend a few seconds spectating or something to see what is actually needed by your team in order to A: work as a team and B: achieve the objective. They could really have done with an extra engineer (who was not being healed by their existing killer medic guy)

Normally, people who join the game as medic don't get this treatment. We've (that is you and we) already had quite a dialogue in the past about this very subject so; didn't seem to me as though any of it had 'sunk in' with you.

You say in your post:

This is at variance with what you and others have been saying about your past history of playing (e.g. Frosty plays for objective, becomes whatever class is needed??) Actually, there's not a lot to 'get used to' when playing medic (particularly in the way I've observed you playing it) Typically, it tends to be:

1. Run out of spawn
2. Run far ahead in front of team killing anybody you see
3. Drop a few packs
4. Heal the odd person you come across
5. Run out of ammo
6. Attempt to pick up other guns or use pistol
7. Get killed
8. Repeat 1-7

And, I forgot to mention "completely ignore any objective or, what your other teammates are doing" and "Accumulate only a few (1 or 2) medic stars despite having 1000s XP" Not a great deal to "get used to" really.

Few things:

I believe medics to be highly important ingame, that is why I thought we needed one. And if as you say the other one wasn't doing a good job, they needed one even more.

They could really have done with an extra engineer (who was not being healed by their existing killer medic guy)

Wouldn't the engineer be better off with a medic who would heal him like I was doing at the time I got banned?

Well it had. I was doing exactly the thing you advised me to do last time, help the team and go for the objective, as I got banned.

This is true. Had anyone asked me to change class I would have done so. At the time I thought a medic was needed. And I still do.

You should not generalize my playing style so readily as you haven't seen me play that much.

As everyone keeps talking about this I feel the need to clarify this event. At the time I had around 1000 xp with two medic stars, but also one star in covert ops and one in engineering. I had also played field ops but I had not gotten a star from that.

Very well. We will take your comments at face value.

The one above concerns me slightly. But, we will understand that this excludes the 'spawncamping, killer medic who doesn't give a crap for his team/objective etc.'
