hi guys
what do you think if at each map rotation xp come back at 0. For my part i think it could be more fair for all people and teams and i think it will encourage people to have a better teamgame.

I like it that there is no xp save, butt after each campain would be annoying then you finally have all your skills and you lose them

I would like this, but I think that the large majority of players on our servers (of whom many don't even visit the forums) would not like it. Dangit people, if you want your akimbos, kill the enemies faster at the beginning of each campaign I just find it some what unfair that one team may have one or two people with 1000+ XP at some point while the other team is full of 0-500XP players. Yes, I know that XP doesn't substitute skill, but think about those noobs who can barely stay alive with others who have 100 XP, and then compare it to the slaughtering that happens when people with 1000 XP start shooting them with their improved aim, akimbo pistols, increased health etc etc... Not to mention those pesky field ops, as if lvl 1 field op isn't annoying enough, you have to fight against lvl 3 that fires artillery every 30 seconds. I could go on and on, but I think you got the idea I understand that you might want to use those XP bonuses that you get with hard work, and I myself enjoy a bit of challenge too (160hp, self healing, decreased bullet spread and adrenaline filled medics can be challenging at times ). Then there is also this: I don't like to have them myself (WTF!?!, some of you may think), the reasoning behind this is simple: While I'm not one that makes it his life quest to be ET master, I still like to improve my playing, and I don't think that my playing improves with 'cheats'. Now don't understand me wrong here, I don't say that high XP rewards are cheats themselves, but if I shoot someone when at 0XP, I know that it was me who killed him, not my improved health, not my increased accuarcy. The best metaphor I can think of is legal steroids (assuming they would be). I like to win without 'steroids' (being mine vision, increased health, increased aim or something else), because it gives me the real feeling of accomplishment. That is not something I get when I can see enemy mines, shoot them to the head without much bullet spread or when I survive simply because of those 20 extra HP's. I can totally understand if someone disagrees with me, and I don't expect everyone to think like I do, I'm just simply expressing my thoughts on the matter.

I know what u are trying to point out 81 but I disagree. After all the player himself is the one who makes action and by it the xp. I see the ppl who have like 200xp after 4 maps (around 50 per a map). The fact is that they dont get less xp cause a player or 2 in the enemy team have around 1000 xp , but because of their personal lack of xp (or skill). For instance if I get in to a game where the enemy has 2-3 players with 1000 xp or more , I can get 250-500 Xp just for that one game. When u get to 600-800 xp u are already have lvl 4 in Battle sense , light weapons and ur class skill. After all , the benefits of XP are quite small , u are kind of weak only at the very beginning , but as soon as u get lvl 2 battle sense and light weapons ur pretty much fully able to beat up anyone who has over 10000 Xp.
To sum up: - The difference between 700-900 xp and 10000xp doesn't exist. - 700-900 doesn't diminish the enemies ability to win even if that enemy has less than 100xp - The key element is skill - As 81 mentioned many many ppl who play on our servers are used to the xp save method which is present at the moment

I do agree with silent voice in everything but i can see 81's point. It's better to kill an enemy when u have 0xp than when u have 3000xp and some players play a lot better when they have more xp...

It was a proposition. No problem if we stay like now

But read what GWK wrote , we DONT have campaign/rotation so it cant be set to "clear xp on campaign restart". We just have a chained line of single map -objective-.

i'm with 81.
you can get some real skilz when its even. if you dont get XP bonusses its much more fun. and all servers that are non-stop full atm. only 1 server has xp-save. the rest has no xpsave or no xp-bonusses.
what means no xp-bonusses>?: ok i give an example. If i kill some1 on PLC server i get 3 xp points. if i kill some1 on a no xp-bonus server i got 0 xp for that kill. i get 0 xp for battle sence. i get 0 xp if i revive some1. in this game its pure skill. if everybody keeps xp 0 you can see the real skill of somebody and you get a better aim and better skills because you play without the "steroids" like 81 said.
but 0 xp at the start of every new map is good to. you can evalute much faster. and if we put ETpro on our server we can challange the other "good" servers.
this is a quit good idea

As I remarked XP brings quite small benefits compared to the players skill and as I mentioned 600 XP = 1000K XP. As I know its not hard to kill anyone with 600-1000K XP.

i dont know if anyone payed any attention to the ETpro server we have had for last 8 weeks but it was empty all day every day,. ETpro is not a hugh success we can safly say..
i for one like the xp save as is, i like the combatr awareness so i can see mines i like the fast reloads ,i like the dual guns etc etc..
i think if we made the xp for one rotation only then people will leave when the xp resets to go play on a server on wich the have xp save..

Only benefit high xp gives i think is a bit unfair is mine visability...it is so huge benefit hmmm, one covopps can see them too, and etpro is more about fragging then teamplay. I've seen a lot of etpro fights and that is about fragging and often no objective (all killermedics). selfkill before u get killed, and no teamplay (scrimms excluded) , obvious not my game. But for serious fragging then etpro is the game to get into.
