Punkbuster issues ...

Ok,i didn't know where to make such a topic so i figured it would be ok here.
I'm new to your server,i played a bit before and i liked it. I started playing again a few weeks back and all of a sudden i had a Punkbuster problem. When i enter the game PB kicks me and gives me a message like : "General PB Authentication Failure" or "PB INIT FAILURE" . The thing is,that i didn't have this problems before,they began recently. So,i reinstalled the game...didn't work. Reinstalled PB ...didn't work. Formated the entire hard drive and installed a fresh Windows and ET ...still the same error messages. I tried manually updating Punkbuster(PB) and still it's the same.

I then copied the entire PB folder from SilentVoice(and he's ET works fine) and again,the same freaking problems.

If anyone can help about this I'd really appreciate it,because it's driving me insane .

the only thing i can say is to look when you open the game if you have enable punkbuster. if not you can't connect.

ofc it's enabled. Like i said,i enter the game,but it's only a matter of time before i get DC.

Anyone else? cuz i'm probably gonna smash my computer if i don't fix this :S

Best way to start to solve anykind of pc problem is to try to find solution from google

lol,yea thx. I tried all that. Didn't work.
I spent the last few weeks trying to solve this problem,and nothing.

Yea,i tried something. It worked today , i played for like 2h w/out DC-ing.

I`m gonna test it today some more,i hope it workes now.
I made some changes to my DSL modem and softver, *fingers crosed*

Ok,so the other night it worked just fine. Didn't get DC-ed at all.

Today...i got the annoying PB error message again...
This is literaly a cry for help,it's getting on my nerves! WTF do i do?

maybe another server is the only option or are u being kicked 2 at other servers?

Hmm,dunno,i didn't try another server. And i'm not going to. If i can't play on PLC i ain't gonna play

I'm busting my balls as we speak trying to fix the damn PB >.<

If it is pb that kicks it should kick in any server even if its a hole different game....
Pb is like big brother
Imagine u let your son play lets say American army and gets caught cheating and pb bans hardware u cant play any game that run pb with that hardware anymore....like battlefield

And now to the topic:
If i understand right the problem is somehow related to to the communication between your pc and pb server
So one thing comes to my mind...i guess u have a firewall...dont ya ?
Maybe firewall covers the information of your pc or your ip addres so pb cant see the identify u or your hardware and therefore kicks u

Other thing that might be possible is that somehow pb cant find the path to the pb folder and therefore dont know what version u have and can communicate with it ( init failure )
It can also be so that u have 2 folders containing pb stuff

Third possibility that comes to my mind this fast is that information on your pc is so spread out that it confuses pb ( if u know what i mean ) yet that should not be the prob if u have reinstalled hole pc as u told....

1. Nope,no firewall atm,i didn't install it after i formated the HDD.
2.I checked,there's only one PB folder,so it aint that.
3. like u said,it cant be it,cuz of the format.

I tried something today,im gonna try to log again.

...btw,pb sux donkey balls :S
