i think one of the reasons the server is that 2.60 is not liked at all in the ET community
we could stay 2.60 which isnt liked at all
go back to 2.55 which would be a step back in my opinion
or upgrade to 2.60b which is the most actual version with most players

i stand up for 2.60b because we will ahve to play most was on that
so the members will have to download it so or so.

on the other hand i want to try the 2.60b but there iron doesn't know alot about so that will take time so thats his choise if he wants to try to get the server running at 2.60b

if you go to patch 2.60b and than you go ETpro, you cant stay to ur own skins and settings. than you have to run an ClanBase config whats verry liked by all ETPRO players. (it has hitsounds etc, etc. to)
Another thing what makes ETpro 2.60b cool to is that there is an program thats called mIRC. There you can join a et channel and get yourself an clanwar within 1 minute.

another + of ETpro 2.60b is that there are alot of official tournement with all kind of classes.

low- (for all beginners in ET 2.60b)
low (just some avarage players)
low+ (a bit better players than low)
med- (for you this will be verry good players)
med (now we are starting to talk about realy verry good players)
med+ (this players attempt good tournement to earn small amount of money)
high- ( this players play in nationscups and sponsored clans, its their job to play et)
high ( The REAL PRO's, look like aimbot hackers if you see them play)

i think if PLC would like to join an tournement you should sign in for the low-/low categorie. and if you try to get an clanwar via mIRC you have to say ur skill is low- to, otherwise u will play vs ppl who are way above u.




but ofcourse you can just play jaymod to in 2.60b.

naw server is running 2.55again and untill naw there where like 8players in server (thats long ago) people who i didn't see on 2.60patch came back naw that we are at 2.55 again and there where like 3-4new players.(+jaymod works great on it) and i also think that when someon who heard of et and wants to play it he defenitly will download the normall game (2.55) without the patches.

if i understand hulk right 2.60B is more like ETPRO so that mean lots of killer meds and (if its like the one i tryed) only fragging and not going for objective not really my style.
this my opinion but if plc shoult go 2.60B i will follo.

yes i have to agree with what honey said earlier, "we have a good reputation in 2.55 and peopl know us" also i would like to add we have always been 2.55
and today when i was/am testing jaymod on 2.55 i noticed people comming to the server likeglenn says here a bove..

too be honest i dont think many people here are waiting to enter a tournament,
i know iam not, i got no time for that, but if we do make the switch i expect everyone that voted yes to be in one, iam most certainly not waiting to play against players who look like they have aimbot.. neither am i waiting to play against people who think they are all the shit, i always enjoyed the more layback attitude of 2.55 players.

So GWK and Hell are gonna be in clan war always when and IF we decide to got to 2.60b ??
i very much doubt that, a IRC channel you say, tht is cool but lets try using this forum more,, IRC handy to get into clan wars.. lol iam sure it is good to get into a clan war, i bet it will be harder to find 4 or 5 people who always want to be in it..
well 2 to 3 people who are always gonna be in it, since gwk and hell are for this i expect them to be in it.
it is gonna be very hard making a name for our selves in 2.60b since all requal players either have there own server or have there own place to play where they have xpsave..

you are going way passed the point we are discussing, the vote is about which patch we will have

iam for the more layed back patch of 2.55 , and hell was wrong going to 2.60 was the step back , a step back we took for the 2nd time now, having no people on the server to play with is what i consider a step back and thus from 2.55 to 2.60 was the step back, going from 2.60 back to 2.55 with jaymod was a step in the good direction..

going to 2.60b is stepping into the unknown, we are not known there we do not know what the level is competition is, and iam sure that most people dont even want to be in a competition...

if i upgrade from 2.55 to 2.60b i expect everyone that voted to go to etpro and playin
g in a tournament to be in it, no excuses like: i have no time, i need time fo school or whatever..
you voted to go to pro so i expect GWK and hell man 2 people who are most defantly for going to pro to be there in each and every fight we will be in..
if not i see no reason why to go to pro if we are not going into a tournament...
and not only that, but because you want this and this will put more burden on me as leader and on the clan ministers of war you will also be responsibile for orginizing clans wars..

and yes u can have a clan war in 5 minutes on irc, but we all know that planning and actually getting 5vs5 man on the field is something completly diffrent that saying we will have a clan war..


and there better be a over whelming majority of votes who want to go to etpro ,, all i see now is a (+-) 50% - 50% which is only deviding the clan.

it is not because we go to 2.6b that we must do a tournament or clan war so often, you can play in 2.6b just for fun too :-)

I played sometimes on 2.6B just for one thing , my aim, i played only on HeadShot server just for the fun, nothing else.

And it's true that on 2.6B you find better player, it's always better to fight against very good player to grow up.

if you go .6b and if you use irc.. you can find a 5v5 or 6v6 to.

just go to the channel and dail.

search 5v5 low+ hvserver

than somebody will respond and u give ip + pw. 5 mins later all of their players are there and the clanwar can start...

and hell_man is totaly right. u can have jaymod on .6b to.. .6b doesnt only have etpro players. its like 50/50. half jaymod half etpro.

it adds better players, more clans. more activity, tournements.. and Quality ETPRO servers for real frag fun!!

ok this is a 40% - 60% vote thus far. what shall we do. ,cause this is a close variation , not wha ti call a landsilde victory for either side (some people still need to vote, some people cant vote)..
i dont see many players on the server now, we can try 2.60b but i really dont expect there much either but then atleast we have a irc channel..... lol ;D ....
