i use avg software pretty good
or avast is also good thats what i heard all the computers at school are protected by those 2 programs. but i cant get avast to work at home

i used spy sweeper just now but it is a payed version 7 day trail but it found 688 spyware programs most of them 99% were cookies that had hidden stuff in them..

for my part i use
ad aware
spyboat
and spyware terminator
when you scan your hardrive with these 3 it take off all the spyware of your computer.
i use kaspersky as antiviruses and it kill some spyware too

yep that last one worked perfectly.. thx X it already found more spyware stuff then the 2 other scannes i used.. very impressive |

they are never on.
just when i make a scan of my computer
kaspersky block the most dangerous and i've no problem

i use Adware se personnal, and spyware doctor, the second one is not free, but you can find it, you know what i mean ;-) Yes kaspersky is an anti virus but he blocked the spyware too  |

I have kerio personal firewall ( software )
and avast antivirus
havent have any problems used that combination 2 years now
2 or 3 times i run ad aware
i have avast and kerio running all the time no problems at playing...only when updates
Ad aware and spybot are the best ones to scan viruses and shit most effective used one after another

i have a router , so i dont need firewall, all incoming port are closed by default, you just have to open it when you want ;-) |

Zone alarm rating, i just looked it up but then i already knew it, it sucks upo a lot of bandwitdh and also 100% prosesor usage that is why it is really bad fire wall , only good thing that it is free, but that is it..  and i agre Norton fire wall is bad, that is why i have Black Ice ,black ice is one of the best and takes little RAM and even less bandwitdh, and norton i only use that for virus scannign and then Norton is one of the best.. |

i have a router , so i dont need firewall, all incoming port are closed by default, you just have to open it when you want ;-) ermm i got a router too and it has a hardware fire wall that does not mean u dont need a software fire wall, because a trojan on your hard drive can contact the internet (no problem) because u opend certain ports to be able to play games and that is the weak spot of your (and my) hardware firewall, that is why you need a software firewall, black ice tracks all traffic too and from my computers and it already catch some traffic that was suspisiouse and the hardware firewall just allowed all that.. so black ice is much better.. |
