Hamilton wins the first race of the seasonThe first race of the season was full of crashes, breakdowns and overtakings, resulting in fact, that just 7 drivers finished the race. Sebastien Bourdais managed to get 1 point, although that he retired 3 laps from the end. Ferrari dissapointed, none of the drivers finished the race, on the other hand, Mclaren with a great perfomance. Update: Barrichello was disqualified after the race due to exiting the pits under a red light, meaning that Raikkonen got 1 point.Race results: 1. Lewis Hamilton 1:34:50.6162. Nick Heidfeld +5.478 3. Double Ferrari win in SpainSince the start of the race, ferrari had everything in "his hands". However, the race was far from being boring, since Heikki Kovalainen smashed his car into secure tyres due to front-left tyre problems. He was taken to hospital, but is in stable condition. Many new drivers earned points, including Nakajima (7 th) and Button (6 th). It is too early to say, but it looks like Ferrari has got everything under control. BMW and Mclaren will be waiting for its mistakes Race results: 1. Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari 1:38:19.0512. Felipe Massa Ferrari +3.228 3. Lewis Hamilton McLaren +4.187 4. Robert Kubica BMW +5.694 5. Super Aguri drops out of F1The team, which owes engine and support supplier Honda around £100 million, had fought tooth and nail for its survival for many months and seen deals with potential sponsors fall through t was effectively created to give an F1 seat to Japanese driver Takuma Sato, who was dropped by Honda in 2005, while Briton Anthony Davidson was chosen for the second car in 2008. "Regretfully I must inform you that the team will be ceasing its racing activities as of today," team principal Aguri Suzuki stated on Tuesday morning. "The team has competed against the many car manufacturer-backed teams and succeeded in obtaining its first points after only the 22nd race, finishing in ninth place overall in the 2007 constructors' championship.
