Massa wins Gp of EuropeFelipe Massa won the race, held in Valencia, after starting it from the first position. It looked like Ferrari is finally going to get some more points in the race for the title, but Raikkonen's engine prevented him from finishing the race. Now, only 8 points separate Ferrari and Mclaren, so Italians better find a solution for their problems otherwise the will lose first place. Vettel had a great weekend in Spain, finishing 6 th. Home matador, Fernando Alonso, finished the race only after one lap, because Nakajima hit him from behind. More bad luck for the Spanish driver. The stewards are investigating a situation during Massa's second pit stop, on the 37th lap, when he was deemed not to have been released safely by his team. He nearly collided with Adrian Sutil’s Force India, which was already leaving the pits. [source = f1 page] In driver's standings, Massa is now second but still 6 "big" points behind Hamilton, who is in great form. Some great races are left on the calendar, so keep in touch 1 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:35:32.3392 Lewis Hamilton McLaren +5.611 3 Robert Kubica BMW +37.353 4 Heikki Kovalainen McLaren +39.703 5 Jarno Trulli Toyota +50.684 6 Sebastian Vettel Toro Rosso +52.625 7 Timo Glock Toyota +1:07.990 8 Nico Rosberg Williams +1:11.457 9 Nick Heidfeld BMW +1:22.177 10 Sebastien Bourdais Toro Rosso +1:29.794 11 Nelson Piquet Renault +1:32.717 12 Mark Webber Red Bull at 1 lap 13 Jenson Button Honda at 1 lap 14 Giancarlo Fisichella Force India at 1 lap 15 Kazuki Nakajima Williams at 1 lap 16 Rubens Barrichello Honda at 1 lap 17 David Coulthard Red Bull at 1 lap 18 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari out 19 Adrian Sutil Force India out 20 Fernando Alonso Renault out Standings, drivers:

Massa wins after Hamilton receives 25 sec penaltyIn Belgium race, Lewis Hamilton crossed the line as first, in front of Felipe Massa and Nick Heidfeld, but judges penalised British drivers, saying " Hamilton gained an advantage by cutting a chicane during a last-gasp duel with Kimi Raikkonen, " so he finished 3 rd after 25 sec were counted into his time. It all looked like Briton was going to win in front of Kimmi Raikkonen, but rain appeared 3 laps from finish. Leading three (Hamilton, Raikkonen, Massa) didn't change tyres, so we saw some spinning on wet surface, resulting Raikkonen slamming into the wall. German Heidfeld gained the most after going to pit stops and beating many drivers in last lap, a great decision from him and his team. It all looks like the title is going to be fought between Hamilton and Massa, only 2 points separate them. 1 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:22:59.3942 Nick Heidfeld BMW 23.844 3 Lewis Hamilton McLaren 1:22:44.933 4 Fernando Alonso Renault 28.939 5 Sebastian Vettel Toro Rosso 29.037 6 Robert Kubica BMW 29.498 7 Sebastien Bourdais Toro Rosso 31.196 8 Mark Webber Red Bull 57.237 9 Timo Glock Toyota 56.506 10 Heikki Kovalainen McLaren at 1 lap 11 David Coulthard Red Bull at 1 lap 12 Nico Rosberg Williams at 1 lap 13 Adrian Sutil Force India at 1 lap 14 Kazuki Nakajima Williams at 1 lap 15 Jenson Button Honda at 1 lap 16 Jarno Trulli Toyota at 1 lap 17 Giancarlo Fisichella Force India at 1 lap 18 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari out 19 Rubens Barrichello Honda out 20 Nelson Piquet Renault out Standings, drivers:

Suprising results of qualifications in raining Monza
Like yesterday, conditions for driving were very hard for f1 teams today. Due to heavy rain, Hamilton, Raikkonen and Kubica didn't qualify in top 10, resulting in a pole position of young german, Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari's Massa will have a small advantage, as he will start as 6 th and we will see if he can maintain this lead to hold important points for overall standings, perhaps even overtaking leading Hamilton.

First win for Alonso in SingaporeRenault's driver, Fernando Alonso, won the first night race, held in Singapore. It is funny that this teammate, Pique, helped him to win 10 pts when he crashed. It caused the safety car to come on, resulting in devestating pit stop for leader at that time, Massa. Due to long pit stop, he went from first to last place on race, giving Hamilton a great chance to expand his lead in overall standings. In addition, Mclaren has overtaken Ferrari in first place, because Raikkonen crashed. This race will soon be forgotten by the Italian team, they will have to do a lot better to defend their title. Second win in a row for AlonsoRenault got the best out of Japan Gp, after today's win by Fernando Alonso and 4 th place by Piquet. On the other end, Mclaren got a big 0, like Ferrari did in last race. For italian team, Räikkönen finally finished the race (3 rd place), earning 6 important points for team championship clash. Massa, who is fighting for driver's title, only got a point, but still better the Hamilton, who finished 14 th. Massa and Hamilton were involved in a "accident" today, causing Hamilton to spin and losing a lot of places. They both got penalised but good result was already lost by the Briton. Massa placed 8 th but is still hoping that FIA will penalise Bourdais with 25 sec due to accident that caused Massa to spin. If FIA will do that, Massa will gain a place and get 1 more point (2 total), which will be very important 2 races before the end.
