When you find a site a site just as this.
it makes you appreciate
how fantastic the internet is
a few year ago to be able to get data of this quality
would have ment weeks of research and ordering
specialist text books from Librarys
Nice Find Zecrito.

I'm going through their "Captured Tanks Gallery", very nice.
I never thought Germans managed to capture that many tanks!
Your first priority when your vehicle (tank/airplane/ship) is in danger of capture by the enemy is to destroy it -- but I guess those captured tank crews were probably to busy running for their lives...
I've heard that Jeep manuals came with specific instructions on how to disable them in case of imminent risk of capture by the enemy. I suppose it would be even easier with a tank: just drop a "bouquet" of grenades down the hatch!
