The US military is developing a new kind defence armor for their light vehicles against RPGs(Rocket propelled grenades). The current armor used to protect vehicles from RPGs is too heavy to be used in anywhere else than in tanks. And as the US military fights often in cities where the tanks lose some their effectiveness, they have to use light vehicles such as trucks which are very weak against RPGs. RPGs work by blowing up in front of a target, and by doing this their copper filled heads burst the extremely hot copper sharpnels in their surroundings with the speed of 5000mph. This new kind of armor zaps RPGs with tens of thousands of amps of current, melting the sharpnels entirely or atleast in to very fine debris keeping the vehicle relatively unharmed. The required electricity is got from the vehicles own battery supply. Remember hulk that this system work only against RPGs and anti-tank rockets. It's useless against most other things. But then again RPGs are the 2nd highest cause of death for US soldiers.

Wow yeah really great, lest spend million's and million's of dollars for the stupidity, mankind has. Pffft, if some people were smart we wouldn't need, that protection, better to give the money for cure research.

But It's very possible x.x.x that in ww||| world will be completly destroyed - today we have that lot of atomics bombs and biological weapons that we can destroy some planets like earth...   But if some people survive cash should not be on their first place of important things, but food and place to live [ home ] |

in the cold war the USSR and the USA already had enough weapons to destroy the whole world 4 times, if WWIII comes, i dont think it will be a matter of troops like in the others but of mass destruction weapons, but when WWIII starts, i dont even think it will be fought only on earth, we already will have colonised some planets, i guess

Heck if someone just took 1000 politicians and kill them by beating the living shit out of them 1 by 1. I would start to dance and vote to make that person a Nobel peace price winer. Anyway this isnt the only vehicle defense that the US made. Just a year ago they made a double layered armor for protection against HEAT Missiles (Heavy explosive anti tank). Lower layer is now a new alloy composite blast resistant shell and the the second , upper one is a lot of lil explosive pointed away from the tank. As the HEAT missiles impact the upper layer , the layer explodes itself back in to the missiles blast countering the piercing cores force. The only drawbacks are that the expense of fixing this armor is high and once the tank is hit in one place , that same spot cant take another missile like that. Anyway I agree with .x.x.x , I just tend to know about these things since human destruction is something look upon with joy...as he mentioned , human stupidity , or more clearly greed and lust for power are obstructing the same from trying to develop cures and ways to prosper. Such life should be wasted with such a well composed weapon. |

But by this rate we are going these days, we will desttroy what nature made in 1000 years.
About destroying the world if we dont nuke it ourselfs, sooner or later nature will end al life.
Granted not so fast as nukes but ooner or later.

Consequences in human involvement will throw nature off curse.
The balance in the atmosphere will collapse cosing less rain somewhere more rain bigger deserts and it will end up whit and ice age.
This will be the 10 or 11 ice age in the earth's history.
What human ruined nature will heal in its own way.
Getinf rid of the insects (humans).
The questing is not if all life will end as we know it, but when.
New step in our evolution or a step back to stick and stones.
