Hi,
yesterday i bought a new mouse, logitech G5..
i play immediatly with it , but .... mmmm not a lot of frag loll
Tune on 400 dpi and 1.45 in ET, not easy to play with that.
Or maybe , i have to train a lot lolllll, very big difference with the old one.
If someone have good parameters for it, im all listening.

10 or 1.0, not really the same,
if you use 2000 dpi and 10 in Et, you never see your cross hair i think loll too sensitive.

imho, mouse setings are very personal, especially when you switch mouse it takes some time to get used to it, but if you have a better mouse like the G5, it will be better eventually. I have the same and use medium setting, adjusted the weights a bit to my liking and kept practising with it. Anyway, play another game for a while and switch back to ET, you'll see that it's easier... at least for me it was, after Battlefield 2.
The sensitivity switching in game can come in handy when you are sniper or for long distance shots but then again, the amount of time you have in ET doesn't allow you to switch that often so...
Keep on practising and don't try to focus to much on parameters...

But 2000DPI + 30.00 is pretty tough

Lol, you should see my mom when trying to press the firefox, she's "chasing" it around for over a minute. I have this one Only - about it its kinda small for my big palm, tested g5 and was much bigger.... For even better handling i'm gonna buy razer mantis speed and control surface.

Does a decent gamepad make a big difference for laser mouses? I have just my wooden desk, a bit worn from gaming but that's it. i can't hardly believe I would notice the difference if I would play on a 50$ mousepad. Although, now I think of it, my mousepad is probably more expensive...
