hey guys, i got a quite serious problem, as i now can play unlimited, and we now have new pc with vista, i wanted to install ET right away... but when the pc loaded the plc maps, it suddenly gave that there was a wrong code...
so iron, does ET has problems playing on vista?? this pc has all the stuff to do it (i checked it double) but it still keeps saying: this program (ET) probably doesnt work properly anymore...
hope you guys can help me, im so clos to my goal (playing et again) that i almost can smell it but i cant play!!!!

U should send pm to paco....he has some serious troubles to get ET and Vista working together
Cant remember what was the problem but he ( paco ) might be able to help u

Hey Gesp. I have Vista too and I am glad to have it. Of course - sometimes it makes me problems, but mostly I can solve them.
About Your problem - send me information (may be PM) with the text, which is displayed when You try to connect. But first - click on the link, which Pit icluded above. There are some interresting informations, which may help You.
P.S.
I would be glad to share informations about Vista with You and, of course, with another people. I think it would be good idea to make a "VISTA" topic. I'll find some interresting informations and solutions and then I will put it in this topic. Good Luck about Your problem.

ok ty, ill send pm right away (after i installed it again cause i deleted it just for a test) and it indeed would be nice to put a vista topic (sticky maybe?) on this forum cause more and more ppl will have vista and they will have problems too (probably) but now i have to get ready for school (i must be at school at 10am for like 30mins of speech and then i can own again  ) bye gesp stylo EDIT: ok i got it (the text i mean) it says: game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server check" |

hey, i googled a bit on the problem and it seems that my code isnt same as on server (plc servers) could someone plz MAIL me that fail (just copy it) so i can replace it als it could be i dont have right version of ET what version has plc server?? 1.33 or 1.32??? btw: im reinstalling ET atm and ive put account on admin... hope that will work, if not, ill need that code, so plz mail it to me  |

ok, ty i let my bro test ET when i installed it again, it worked  but after 1 game, it logged out and went to the list with downloadable files of plc... when my bro wanted to join a game again, he couldnt even go on ET main menu (it started to load, in that little screen, it turned grey like always but it didnt change into the intro movie, it stayed grey!!!!!!) does someone know the answer??? |

any help would be verry much appreciated, i really want to play in team with my bro again :-p ty for help and hope there will be more help comming up EDIT: I CAN PLAY AGAIN!!!!!!!! but when i quit the game, and start it up again, i have to reinstall the whole game again... EDIT2: I CAN PLAY AGAIN!!!!!!!! i can play again several maps, as long as they are basic maps i can... so i cant play saberpeak, frostbite etc server 1 is secured by that way... but server 2 will take some time, do i have to download the plc map- files to play?? |

I have had similar problem about "Fifa 2002". When I left a game - next tie I had to reinstall the program (game). I haven't found a solution. Sometimes You have to reinstall the drivers to Your Graphic Card and then it works. sometimes it doesn't work. Sorry, but I had no such problem as You have and I don't know what to do. VISTA is still the Intact Territory for me. I hope You will manage Your problem. If I will think out anything, I will let You know.

ok, ive found a cute little botton at the ET icon where i can set the program to play like on an windows XP pc, but it works half... i really need a new punkbuster and ill reinstall the drivers... (when i have time...) but there is another strange thing, when i play, and i quit, i can play again, no problem, but when there occurs a problem, i have to reinstall it cause i only see half of the 1st cloud of the intro movie... weird  |
