hmmm.... i've got a proposition: maybe u could post the link to the mod here (with a brief instruction how to install it if it's really that tough) cause the dl rate from the game server is 'lowish' (8kb at max...) and this way users of the forum would benefit even more... furthermore: the pistol sounds are fine BUT u can hear only the last shell fall  previous shells are as if 'silenced'... and as for the bone cracking sound... I preffered it better... but that's just mho... |

RTCW sounds are allways better.
Feels like the pistol is more effective, as we with DarkReaper tested. Silenced Luger is like in movies.
So now all main weapon sounds are from RTCW ?

mp40-schmeisher,colt,lugar are now original RTCW sounds..
silcened lugar is still the same sound altho i have a sound of a silenced lugar dropping a shell..

I dunno if that is possible in ET or does it require re-coding some files. everything is possible if u know how to do it, but that wont solve the problem either, the noise of the gun firing will always over "noise" the sounds of the little shell dropping on the ground.. and btw this is nuthing new, it is the same with the thompson and schmeisher shell hitting the ground if u fire a whole wave of bullets u only hear the shell drop when u stop firing... im now trying to convert this uniform to fit german players but it isnt easy , since they are compleetly diffrent..   i found the most beatiful skins in original RTCW but they all use diffrent models and converting them is a biatch!! |

(and if you, General, would want to make some major changes-skins, maps and/or stuff like that- and it would be 2 mb or so, it would be faster and more convenient to post a linky somewhere (here) on the 4um...) |

our server has a new mod i now added 3 new sounds.. 1) the bone cracking noise that u hear when u fall or jump off a to heigh a place is now replaced by a pain foot steps sounds (just jump off a heigh place in the game and u know what i mean by that).. 2) lugar sound has been changed to original RTCW lugar sound wich has the shell dropping on the ground 3) Colt sound has changed to original RTCW Colt sound.. i hope you all like this, the mod become a bit bigger and is now: 800 kb new mod can be downloaded here: vamphaven.250free.com/maps/PLCmodSkinsSounds.pk3add the pk3 file to your et main folder, or u can just download it from the server.. the full mod now has: * New mine flags. * New Spotted Mine flags (when cov ops spots them). * New Axis Medic Uniform. * Upgraded Axis Field ops Uniform. * Original Thompson Sound with dropping shell. * Original Schmeisher sound with dropping shell. * Original Colt sound (with faint droppign shell). * Original Lugar Sound with dropping Shell. * Original Silenced Lugar Sound with dropping Shell. * Original falling from Height Damage sound. * New Spectator logo in limbo screen ( PLC red Wolf) * Skull Image on mines yes i have i prob, i went to that adress to download the new sounds and skinsmod and i saved it, tried to go ont to server, but it just brought me to back to that adress for the download please help me  |
