when ever i try to go on plc, i get removed by punk buster, please help me solve this problem

it may help...
but IF You're using windows 2k/xp try changing your users privilages to administrator (had a similar problem a while ago...) should help... (I'll try to find the complete procedure on the net...)
if You do not have a message about O/S privilages just neglect my line of thought...

i dont think its necessary to make a new topic cause i got also a prob. today i wanted to join server i was always "diconnected for unknown reason punkbuster:not connected to a server" dunno what to do i think i have the latest pb ubdate???  hope u can help me |

the loading screen appears it load
and.....disconnected

i think it's a problem with your isp or cables or...
hmm...
a stupid question: are the internet cables the same as the telephone ones? (meaning they're provided by the same company/using the same means...)
2nd stupid question: what are they? (meaning underground or above the ground on poles?)
and 3rd stupid question: how old are they? (when were they installed and if they are on poles...)
if any of the stated above 'problems' do as follows:
1->call your isp to ckeck the lines
2->as above
3->as above and ask for a technician to take a look at them near your place...
it can be also happening due to the massive traffic (meaning a lot of ppl wanting smth from the internet at the same time), or problems with your modem/os or whatever...
or again the isp... is your ip static or dynamic?
please provide some more details...

I have a different problem....and i`ve seen that "doctor" fresh visits here.....  I dont have this "refresh" button at all in serverlist window So when i start ET i get server list and thats it There are all other 3 buttons join server, server info etc. If i want to refresh list i have to join some server and then disconnect....or sure i can find plc by ip btw....better late than ever.....happy new year to all !! |

hem hem hem... u don't have the 'refr3sh' button eh? not much i can help on that one :/ try reinstalling the game or... use the server monitor from the 4um and join the game (try at some stupid hours like 8 a.m. - when the server is empty) afterwards when u get into the game press the ' esc' button and click on 'server info' or smth similar. you should get a 'add to favourites' button->click it afterwards, if everything went well, when u enter the list of servers change the filter from 'internet' to 'favourites' yet still i would go for the easiest->reinstallment... just try to download the et.exe from the internet by night and what's most important: DON"T DELETE THE OLD FOLDER, when u install it again, copy and paste ALL the '.pk3' files from the main folder from the 'old' game folder and transfer them to the new one (you'll save some transfer from the server... and you won't have to w8 for it to download when you'd want to play  ) if that doesn't help then sorry... i'm all out of bullets... |
