Well we must see the good and bad sides of updating and decide does the good stuff out weight the bad stuff. And make the decision based on that. After all if it does go wrong we (iron) can still de-patch the server. Even though it might take some time i think we (iron) should update the server.
Please remember that i'm only 14 and my knowledge of computers is limited and that i wasn't here when you (iron) last updated the server, so i cant tell how bad it was back then.

we could do that risk, if it deosnt work we can always get back to 2.55, even if its more work

Last time we had same changing from 2.66 to 2.50.  |

we could do that risk, if it deosnt work we can always get back to 2.55, even if its more work if it fails and we wanna go back to 2.55 then simply copy all maps and mods from ur etmain, uninstall the game, then delete the folders on c:programfiles/wolfensteinET and install the game again.. |

its easy: activate the auto-update function in et (somewhere in the settings)
