Hamilton wins Japan GpToday's race was close to being canceled, but still got a green light, so we were able to see some action. Race started with a safety car, due to heavy raining. It wasn't until 20 th lap that the Sc went off and then the whole things started seriously. Hamilton was driving good, while Alonso had some troubles with car and others that tried to overtake him. Both ferrari drivers went to pits in first 19 th laps, because their tyres were ment for soft rain, not heavy. Still, they managed to get a very good final place, only shame is that Raikkonen was stuck behind Kovalainen (good race for Renault today). The ferrari driver managed to secure third place after Massa was called into pits few laps before end and after Raikkonen superbly overtook Coulthard on wet surface Fernando Alonso crashed today, which means that the world title is basically in Hamilton's hands. During the race, a lot of drivers were switching in first place, some of them are Vettel, Webber, Fisichella, Kovalainen and so on ... . Next race will be in China in a week, but i think that everything is already decided. Race results: 1. L Hamilton (GBR) McLaren 2:34.579 2. H Kovalainen (FIN) Renault +8.377 3. Thanks kommu I think that people are just not into F1 ... perhaps i should post more about football (champions league perhaps), so more people would post in sports topics. I should do a survey to find out what people want So, football, basketball or something else??

How about hockey? Nah, F1 news are best, we are just too amateurs to give any comment For me personally, motorsports (more rally than F1) and hockey are those 2 witch gets my attention...

Hey Mickey, keep up the good work! I often miss the F1 on tv and I can easily see the results that you posted. So i am glad you do all this work. Soccer is sth I like too, hockey however is a hamstergame, so not my thing (only some particular women's hockey ) Ybf.

Yes reporter-to-be material Football (UCL and international tournaments and Bundesliga ), motor sports (WRC, F1) and hockey wich doesn't have so many international tournaments or cups are interesting. But I'm very satisfied so far with F1 coverages. But in quite big community it's hard to see the favourite subjects of every member.

Lewis Hamilton has escaped any FIA punishment after race stewards cleared him of erratic driving behind the safety car at Fuji last week.
The 22-year-old Briton had seemed resigned to being punished for his part in the collision between Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel that eliminated both behind the safety car.
But, following a stewards meeting involving all three drivers and the now infamous youtube video showing the accident that Formula One's official cameras missed, the McLaren driver was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Had the decision gone against Hamilton, he could have been penalised ten places on the grid for this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix or even stripped of his Japanese victory.
Hamilton leads the world championship by 12 points from team-mate Fernando Alonso and will become the first rookie to win the title if he wins the Shanghai race [source: eurosport]

If u would like it, i can post the uefa championship league results and group standings (only two matches have passed, so u haven't missed much). About hockey, it is easier to cover an international event (world cup, etc.) than nhl, since there are a lot of teams and matches, but it is up to all of u to suggest something. Then, the most "popular" thing can be posted about

I've changed my hair stylist, so that must be it. Strangely, but a lot of people told me that i look like some famous singer ... don't know why ... ;D (i wouldn't mind if she was my hair stylist or something ) I also think that it is too late for others to prevent Hamilton from winning. They will just have to try in the incoming season ...

Right the moment i open my mouth and say Hamilton will take the champion he goes out at pit stop and now Räikkönen and Alonso are very close at overall standings....i should have done it earlier and maybe Räikkönen was leading in points at the moment Anyway the race was cool....so much happened Nice to see the races with happenings...not just driving one after another and standings change only at pit stops

Hamilton is just a lil kid who gets a good car good mechanics which alonso has tought them how to prepaire a good car....Anyone can be a good driver with a good car isnt it...Otherwise we all can saw that he could not handle the pressure on hes head! And i belive ha could not stand it in Brasil too.I belive in finnland driver Kimmi which he deserve title more then anyone here im a right?? I still think that Hamilton's 4 points represent a big lead, because today was the first time that he didn't get any points and we cannot expect that he won't get any in Brasil as well ... . Alonso still has some chances, but he must get at least 5 points more than Hamilton, which leads u to there predictions. Alonso is the champion if: Alonso 1 st (10pts), Hamilton 3 rd (6 pts) --> tied but Alonso more victories Alonso 2 nd (8pts), Hamilton 6 th (3 pts) Alonso 3 rd (6 pts), Hamilton 8 th (1 pt), Raikkonen musn't win Alonso 4 th (5 pts), Hamilton 9 th (0 points), Raikkonen musn't win Raikkonen wins if position are similar to these: - 1 st, Hamilton 6 th, Alonso 3 rd - 2 nd, Hamilton 8 th, Alonso 4 th I don't want to bet here because Hamilton is still looking strong, very strong

Wurz will no longer be driving in f1Williams driver Alexander Wurz has confirmed that he is to retire from Formula One racing with immediate effect. The team will announce his replacement for the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix on Tuesday. Wurz made his Formula One debut in 1997 with Benetton in Canada, since which time he has driven for McLaren and most recently Williams, as test driver in 2006 before taking on a race seat for the 2007 season. “I would today like to announce my retirement from active racing in Formula One,” said the 33-year-old Austrian, who has recently become a father for the third time. “I would like to thank my family and fans, everyone at AT&T Williams and my previous teams, as well as the media, for all of their support during my Formula One racing career.” In ten seasons, Wurz has made 69 Grand Prix starts, with his most recent visit to the podium coming earlier this year in Canada. He has scored 13 points in 2007, but has struggled to match team mate Nico Rosberg, particularly in qualifying. [Source= F1 page]
