Kimmi Raikkonen won the opening race in Australia, in front of two Mclaren drivers, Alonso and rookie Hamilton. The ferrari driver didn't have any problems with keeping the other drivers behind. Second ferrari driver, Massa, managed to place 6 th, after starting last, due to some car troubles on saturday qualifications. New season will be very tense, indeed. lol, a year ago the wallons (french part of belgium) wanted Francoshamps back in F1 (advertising sigarets was forbidden Belgium so most of the cars could go on the parcours cause of the advertising) so they met the big boss of F 1 (forgot his name) and signed the contract without even seeing they would have to pay like 4 times the price of normal and since wallony is the pourest reagon in Belgium...

neither is that sport suitable for belgians we only winn in dirty games like (motor)cross, swimming... i really mean it the only time a belgian won in F1, it was cause it started raining, we really have something with rain (look at WWI at the yzer river in belgium) bye gesp stylo

Michael Schumacher will have a corner named after him at the Nurburgring later this year. The 38-year-old German, who retired from Formula One at the end of last season with a record seven world titles and 91 wins, will attend his home Grand Prix to see a turn re-named 'the Schumacher-S.' "Michael Schumacher will be here at the Grand Prix on July 22 for the dedication of the Schumacher-S," circuit boss Walter Kafitz said. Schumacher told the Cologne Express: "To have this corner at my home track named after me is a great honour." During his 15-year Formula One career Schumacher won five times at the Nurburing, most famously in 1995 when he clawed back a 42-second deficit to Jean Alesi in just 25 laps to claim victory on the penultimate lap. My comment: It is good to be Michael Schumacher

Mclaren dominated on today's race, getting 18 points with their two drivers. Alonso manages to win, while Hamilton, most of the race covering his back, placed second. Ferrari didn't had any chance at all, i dunno what was going on in their team. Still Raikkonen placed third, while Massa finished on 5 th position. I have a feeling that this year we are goin to see a severe battle between Mclaren and Ferrari, all other teams are a lot worse Results: 1 F. Alonso McLaren 1:32:14.930 2 L.
